Default car is burning alot of oil and im noticing blue smoke on startup...

i have an extended warranty and a appointment scheduled for this coming friday. i brought the car used and now i am starting to believe the car may have been beaten on by the previous owner. ive owned the car for a lil over a yr and have clocked less than 10k miles. how should i proceed with the stealership? im thinking of having them run a compression test. any advice would be appreciated.

Default Compression test is a start. Look at the spark plugs, they'll tell you a tale too. Tailpipes...

what kind of residue/deposits you getting?

Default i recently changed the spark plugs when i was at 40k miles

about 4 to 5 months ago. the right side was considerably worse than the left. i am also getting a good amount of black deposit/residue on both tailpipes, very soot like. im going through about 2 liters of oil every 1k miles

2L/1K miles!?! This is not good. To Audi, the sooner the better.

Default Blue smoke = oil.

A puff of it on startup usually indicates bad valve seals. The rings could also be starting to go, so a compression test is a good idea. Have them do a leakdown test, too.

Default Well, since those aren't really normal wear items, they should be covered.

Depending on what your extended warranty covers. But, knowing Audi, they probably won't make it easy for you.
