Car screaming when cold...

Serp belt TSB question.....
Is it just early-build '04s or a certain VIN range that are affected? Or everything? I think I have the same issue, but mine's an '05.
Also....if you wouldn't mind e-mailing me a copy of the TSB at the address in my sig, I'd be eternally grateful. Many thanks.

'04 Sedans and Avants up to VIN# 8E_4816482,BUT
If you are having a similar problem, It does not preclude you from having it fixed. If the tech is smart( sometime they actually are) he should figure that you car has the same symptoms that the '04s have AND MAYBE THE SAME FIX! If not a copy of the tsb might be helpful as long as you let them know that you are aware of the fact that the tsb DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU VEHICLE.

Mine made a similar sound
It just sounded awful in the morning since it started getting cold out. The sound was worse when turning the steering wheel and I assumed it was low on power steering fluid which I had read about here on the forum (too lazy to check for myself though). I brought it in and the dealer said it needed the serpentine tensioner and roller. I asked specifically about the power steering fluid and they said that was okay. Interestingly, when I got the car back, the sound was gone. I brought it back for the TSB a few days later after they ordered the parts. It didn't sound any different after the TSB but I'm glad they did it. All is quiet again and I'm a happy camper.
