Default Car was totalled, waiting for offer from my insurance.
So my car was totalled after all. At-fault party's insurance had a limit of $25K liability (he took out a 05 Civic (totalled), my 06 S4, and pushed me into a Camry). Due to this, we each had to go through our own insurance companies. Check out my pic post for accident photos.

I just recieved word that the car was totalled, anyone have any experience on how they determine the payout on a brand new car (del. 12-27-05, ~2000 miles on odometer)? I'm just really impatient and would appreciate some insight if anyone has some.

Default they payout the market value of the car, even if it's only 1 day old.
hopefully you have gap insurance.

Default Your right about the Gap insurance. Can that be obtained in a non lease?
I have always had it on my leases. Never heard of it with financing, but is available with Audi Premium Purchase.

Default *especially* on an Audi.
just drive a new Audi off the lot and it's probably worth $5K less automatically.
