I finally got the adapter and it works great, but when I tried to switch to my satelite radio, I found that the satelite radio no longer worked. I mean, the iPod works great in the car, but now I have to pick one over the other. Turns out that, once plugged in, the adapter uses the same port as either the satelite radio module or the external CD changer (these 2 can't work together either, it's one or the other).
It's really my fault for not looking into the potential non-compatablitlty issues. I'm probably just going to put it in my wife's Allroad (no sat. radio). I just can't see myself paying for the XM and not using it.
I'm going to try one last ditch effort to see if there is any way to connect the iPod via an external amp or something like that. I'll post info on this if it's possible.

This will alow an iPod conection to co-exist with the sat radio. They are doing this to support people with phat box.

Is there a conflict if I don't have a CD changer? I am trying to decide between the Blitzsafe front or rear cables (or the Ice-Link if it works). If I can't keep my Sat radio I guess I'll just wait until a working adaptor is available.

Thanks, I saw that. Just hoping for something simpler as I am not using a CD changer or Phatnoise.

its the same connection. you use the CD Changer Connection to support a CD Changer, Phatnoise or Ice Link. Doesnt matter, all the same connection/design.
