The new C4 will do 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.
Mid 70's for an AWD Carrera.....
(I know, a sports car vs. sports sedan....)
We'll just have to see what the RS4 prices out at, OFFICIALLY !!
The new P Car will be here much sooner too.
Ahhhh, decisions... ;-)

And to answer kujo's question, get the P-car
Once you drive one, you'll make up your mind quickly.
No disrespect to the RS4 (I'm on the list for one, too), but for $70k I'd buy a C4/S any day of the week (assuming sedan vs coupe didn't matter). You are paying a serious premium for exclusivity with the RS4.

This is my exact dilemma. This is my current car, traded in the B5 S4 for it. I live in NYC, so I must limit myself to one car. Which one will it be???
The reality is that the new C4 is going to more like $85-$90k off the lot. Remember, when buying a Pcar new, all the options are a la carte. So, to get the level of refinement seen in the RS4, you will need to spend over $10-$15 in options. I bought mine used.
Someone also said it costs more in insurance, not all together true. My S4 cost more to insure than the pcar. Probably due to the theft problem in the tri state area, but the insurance is not that bad. I think most pcars sold, never break the speed limit, let alone, get out of the garage in the USA.

Click
