i was driving a like half hour ago and my check engine light on and started flashing and the car started to vibrate i would like to know what causes that and what can i do to fix the problem

Just had my coil packs replaced
Check engine light came on last week. No vibration but idle speed was higher than normal. Reading codes showed 6 cylinder misfires.
Took car to dealer and all 8 coilpacks were replaced per TSB 2013623/3

same thing happened to mine
my b6 s4 is on the flatbed to mission viejo audi as we speak for a little warranty love :-) sounds like coil packs if so it should not be mroe then a couple hours before i get my car back
