Cleaning BBS CH wheels

I washed my '06 S4 for the first time today. Boy, the car is a lot bigger than my TT!
As I suspected, the BBS CH wheels (that I love) are pretty hard to clean. I cleaned them with P21s wheel cleaner and two brushes -- a larger and a smaller one.
Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to make cleaning them easier?
When I said "they'll be hard to clean" at the dealer, one of the sales people said "Oh, just use a pressure washer and that dirt will come right off without any scrubbing or chemicals."
I'm skeptical. If there was some magical way to clean wheels without work, I would have thought I'd have heard of it before.
Any suggestions welcome.

P.S. Had to include a picture showing my hard work!

On my 330xi there were like 20 seperate spokes and it was a pain in the *** to clean each and every single one, and I'm figuring BBS wheels would be about the same. The one thing I like about my Avus wheels is that the rim is basically one flat surface so it's much easier to clean.

Agreed. I prefer the AVUS wheel for just that reason...looks are equal. In some ways, the avus says S car. The CCH says german car (to me at least), so I think the avus wheel is a stronger design statement.

i use a carwash brush from autozone about a foot long, ataches to hose. renoves the dirt and flushes it away. you can spray a little glass plus or whatever to help loosen dirt. works great on my B7 A4 split spoke wheels. and i tried everything, this is the best system so far. quick and easy....joe v.

especially if you don't wipe them down in between washes, as I don't.
I got a Mother's Powerball and I'm going to experiment with that. It's a little too big to fit in all the crevices, so I may have to cut it down a little. It's not really designed to *clean* wheels (it's a polishing sponge), but I think it might work.
I don't think waxing really makes that big of a difference...at least it never has for me.
The one thing that does make a BIG difference is switching to Mintex Red Box pads. I've had them on a few cars now, and they really make very little dust. If you keep the OEM pads on the rear, you'll notice the rear wheels getting dirty before the fronts!
