Default Clear bra and tint manufacturers?

Anybody have any insight on who makes a good clear bra and or tint? I have been looking at the Huper Optik Ceramic tint, but i can't for the life of me figure out why it is better than normal tint?

Default

If you have a dark car..DON'T GET THE BRA. 3m tint is just as good as the rest.

Default Why no clear bra if dark car?.....

obviously it would be easier to see on a dark car, but so are rock chips. I've seen many dark cars with clear bra and if it's done correctly (custom) then it looks great.

I've also seen kits that look horrible on any car, especially dark ones.

Here are dark cars from my shop you don't even know it's there:

You can also see more on their web site

http://www.detailingdynamics.com</a

Default I never knew till a gtg this weekend however every dark car I saw had a massive line across the hood

I was told on lighter cars you can't see it.
So...that is why i said that.

Default Maybe when the car is spotless you can't see the line but the second a single piece of dust..

is on the hood.......

Maybe if I bought my car I would think about it.

Default you can see the line on every color car...

granted, on a dark car it is a little more pronounced, but nothing horrible imo....

Default it wasn't bad at all...

and with my Nogaro, when it is dirty from driving in the snow, that is pretty much the only time it looks very pronounced..

Even when it is dusty, and colorado is the co-capital for dusty, you can't tell...

It is a worthwhile investment here due to the immense amount of gravel they put on the roads here for winter..

Default well I would not get it. But I also don't hold on to my cars for that long...

As far as getting it to stop gravel from hitting my bumper...
I could careless. Reason being I had gravel hit my windshield so hard that it cracked my wind shield and it started to spider web.
What am I gonna do? Cover the whole car in 3m products.
