the last car was a she, and we all can see what happened to her for attracting the *wrong crowd*..
I know this will sound weird, but this car (S4) is more of a "friend", the old car had a lot more of my blood and sweat invested in it..

My car, my finacee's car, my dad's 2 cars and many people on AW have used my place and I've never seen lifting on the edges.
The trick is to know what you are doing when cleaning the car. Tape up the edges with thin masking tape and there will be no lifting or wax build up.

Were those done with 3m film? I'm starting to think that the 3m stuff kinda sucks . . . . every single car I see with it (both freshly done and old) has some weird texture to it.
Mine looked like crap but the shop said that it was just how the film is . . . ended up getting all my $$$ through the CC company . . . starting to think that it might be partly a film issue.
