I'm looking forward to replacing my 330ci next year. I have my heart set on these 2. Both have a big v8 with plenty of power that i'll ever need. i dont really need 4 doors. anyone knows if there's gonna be a s4 coupe? and when? if its not too long i might just wait and see. the s4 is not available for a test drive here. i really like the styling of the clk but the s4 is cheaper and has more performance and better interior.

The S4 is faster and handles better, while the CLK will have a smoother ride. Of course, the S4 is available with a stick, while the CLK500 is only auto (not sure if this matters to you).

Since you imply that both have enough performance, the CLK might be a better fit for you. Many dealers will get demo S4s in the coming weeks to test drive.
