with helical vanes that improve efficiency. Even though it has twin rotors, it is not technically a "twin-screw". I guess it is something like a cross between a classic Roots and a twin-screw.
Apparently this blower has been used in OEM applications like the Pontiac GTP (yuk).

when: nobody knows
why: b/c it creates 470 hp on 91, is very "sleeperish", keeps engine cooler than stock, has a 3 year warranty, all for $8,000? and the law that "when it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" doesn't apply?
i guess the only question i have then...is WHEN!!?!?
