Default Clutch busted... Just drove from Vancouver BC-Napa-LA-Palm Springs-Las Vegas-Boise

No problems, no hint of anything wrong, as I come about 5 miles into Washington on I82 I go to shift from fourth to fifth, and it seemed like it caught a little on the way out of fourth...I thought maybe I didn't have clutch quite far enough, although all of my shifts are normally with clutch to the floor...it comes out of fourth and as I try to put it in fifth....it starts grinding...WOAH...so I release and hit the clutch, the pedal goes to the floor with barely any pressure. I pull over, and cannot get the car into any gear while running. I put it in gear and started the car with the clutch depressed and it started moving the car right away. So obviously the clutch is not disengaging. What could it be....I am thinking the lining has come off or the throwout bearing is messed up.

Anyways, now I am stuck far from home with no hope of having the car fixed for few days. It's at Overturf in Kennewick WA.

Mine did the same thing and it was the clutch disc disintegrating. How many miles do you have?
