The service manager said when he got in the car this morning the pedal felt strange and he though the pressure plate could have been broken. After pumping the pedal a few times however it returned to normal. They drove the car around for 30Km without problems.. he says it was probably just air in the system that has now worked its way out!?
What do you guys think?

and wedged between the plate and flywheel. They probably put the car in gear and revved it until the piece desintigrated (sp) or broke free. I doubt there was ever any air in the system, the only reason the pedal got soft was because the pressure plate couldn't release due to the lining. It works now but there is a vibration when the clutch is engaged and a shutter when engaging.
My dealer is replacing the clutch.
