I being drivng my S4 for about a week, the car feels a little bit funny compare to when I first got it, I never abused the clutch or the tranny, always done gentle launch. but when I am going at low speed the car lug a bit, I wonder if there is something wrong with my clutch, is there a quick way to test whether my clutch is slipping or not?
Thank you

If it's slipping (which I doubt), when you go WOT in 1st, you'll see the rpms shoot up quickly (but the car won't go very fast), then suddenly drop. Another way to test it is to put it in a high gear (eg. fifth) and try to start off from a stop in that gear. If it is slipping, you'll be able to let out the clutch fully without stalling.

if your clutch is not slipping and your rpms shoot up, the car will move! DBW has nothing to do with it. Similarly, I'd like to see you get the car moving from a complete standstill in 5th or 6th gear without stalling it. That is not a DBW issue.

The DBW system is horrible. Even with aftermarket software it still isnt perfect.... You will see the RPM's shoot up even if the clutch is engaged and you provide certain ammount of throttle input. And I mean like 1/2 throttle. But this is only if you hold it at like 3800-4000 then do that. Also you can get the revs to hang at 4000 pretty easily. Its a messed up system and it seems that its only a problem in the S4's.
