Curious - anyone *disable* X-band on their Valentine?

People that don't drive with one, don't understand how it works I guess. You need to interpret what it's telling you and make a decision on friend or foe. That's why my 8500 is sitting in a drawer in the house. The more information you are presented with the easier it is to make a decision.
I still see X-Band in use here and there, so I won't disable it. I keep mine in Full Logic mode 99.9% of the time unless I'm in the middle of nowhere, then it does into All Boogies.

I mostly did it for my friend. But there are stretches of I-95 that I frequent that have so much x-band noise that the thing even in L mode is alarming X-band above mute level more often than not. It's bad enough I can't pick out K threats through the noise.
I'll prob. keep X on most of the time, but turn it off on that stretch of road (SE CT).
