Default no worries... I'm not trying to bite off more than I can chew

This drivetrain will handle just about anything that the class 1 hitch will handle without any additional cooling. I'm looking at max 3 hour hauls and less weight than I've had inside the cabin instelf.

It was funny watching my installer lay into guys who planned on towing big *** yachts with little Ford Exploders :haha:

It's all about using your head.

Thanks for the details and pics!

Another person posted that for carrying bicycles, the hitch solution isn't stable when driving at high speeds. So they recommend roof racks.

BlueCarDude: have you used this with a hitch-mounted bike rack? What was your experience.

I don't like the idea of the roof rack. In the past, I had a hatchback (Probe GT V6) and always put the two bikes inside; very handy. Can't do that easily with my 04 S4 Quattro (though theoretically I might be able to do one bike). Perhaps I should have gotten the Avant like you!
