Default I've got a couple "spots", tiny, but I see them.

Is yours actually cracked, or is it indented. I have tiny sparkles from rocks.

I used to worry about rock chips on the paint and windshield, but figured there's no point worrying about them since sooner or later, I'm going to get a big crack and have to replace the whole windshield, or I'll find my car parked with the hitch of a pickup sittig on my front bumper. Big damage will come sooner than later. (ie **** happens, move on).

However, this new found thinking of mine doesn't mean I'm a slob. My car looks new all the time, definitely still smells new as well. (got a new car smell confirmation today.)

(this is how I justify not purchasing clearbra. )

Default I got a deep one on the passenger side. Called Safelite (link attached)...

Cost me $65 and they came straight to my house. They filled the hole. You can still see a bit of the ding, but at least no water/ice will get in and crack the windshield.

http://www.safelite.com/</a

Default Isn't there a Murphy's Law of Windshield Rock Chips and Bugs that applies here?

"The first one will always be dead center in the drivers view"

Default Thanks, I've got an appointment next week at the dealers....

They have one of their bodyman that fixes minor cracks in windshields. They just send the $75.00 bill to the insurance co.
