Here's my experience:
0. the kit
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/75855/pedal_package.jpg">
Not good news I'm afraid:
1. pulled the existing brake pedal off easy enough
2. wrestled with the existing clutch pedal for 5 minutes before it came off
3. lined up the brake and clutch alum pedals, the fit radius-wise is 'ok', I'd say that with either the top or bottom bolts firmly grounded the other end would be about 3/32" up off the pedal, shim required I guess
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/75855/pedal_clutch.jpg">
4. gas pedal is a diferent story however, the radius is much bigger on the alum one than on the existing plastic/rubber base, off by a 1/4"-3/8" at one end with the other firmly grounded
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/75855/pedal_gas.jpg">
I feel rather uncomfortable shiming and messing with these, seems to me like that should fit real firm and snug.
The real SUCK is that now I've pry'd the clutch pedal cover off I can't get it back on so it's bare...and slippery. I'm wondering if I should put the brake/clutch on with the assumption/hope that AWE is going to stand by their product and make the appropriate adjustment to the gas pedal....they seem to have a decent enough reputation...but the last thing I want is mismatched pedals..
I guess I'll be in touch with AWE on Monday and see where we go from here.
Shucks !!

At least that's what I thought. That doesn't really help with the gas pedal though.

Thanks for the update. I will be very curious to hear what they have to say on Monday. I would sure like to know what your resolution is before fighting the same issues. Will also be very telling as to whether to buy additional stuff from them.
Thanks!
Thanks!
