Default Did the dealer use synthetic oil???...
Part "ZVP000540".. said he hooked me up at $5.20 a quart. No mention of "synthetic" anywhere on the paperwork though.

Default Given you can get Mobil1 at 3.99 a quart, that's not much of a hookup.
Cheaper than motul, yes...

But motul, it definitely isn't!

Yes, dealer spec should be synthetic

Default BTW, synthetic oil is MANDATORY for use in 05 and 06 S4s
OPTIONAL on 04s. As per Audi.

Default I know. I specifically said I wanted/ paid for synthetic. but dont trust the dealer, considering...
they don't know how many quarts our cars take.
