Did ECS send me the wrong parts?

I thought maybe the same thing but the A4 Ultrasport grill has different style fins and only fits the Ultrasport bumper...so I've been told...

If you wanted an all black upper, to match your all black lower, order this one:

Weird. I thought ECS only sold an all-black upper, not lower
I thought, for the S4, all they have is:
1) All-black upper
2) Black/Gray upper
3) Black/Gray lower
Weird. Maybe these are A4 parts?
I ordered and received #2 and #3.

Ok...Now I'm really confused...LOL. I spoke with ECS today and here is what they stated...
"On the European S4 cars...the upper grill is Black surround with granite fins and chrome rings, on the lower grille is is all black to match the fog lamp grills. The fin design is correct on the all black lower grill to match the black/granite upper. A4 grills have a slightly different fin design. Only a S4 OEM lower(chrome rim/granite fins) and an all black S4 Euro lower is available"
From what I could tell...the fin design looks the same but what the hell do I know...

Yes...please do....! I would be really curious to know your part numbers and what you received. The cust. service guy did seem pretty sure on his statement. He stated he has never seen a ganite lower with black rim for a S4....European S4's have black/granite uppers and all black lowers...
I just happen to like the granite fins as they seem to go nice with the Dolphin Grey...
The surrounds are in fact interchangeable...
