thread here and on the M3 forum. I have a meeting coming up at work at 10:30, but I am going to issue a public apology sometime this afternoon. What I said and how I said things in my original post were completely unprofessional and I realize that. Sorry for all the commotion this has caused. I'll post this afternoon.

You're right about not all of you being jerks. The M3 owner definitely earned the streotype of believing they are God's Gift to the World (Remember, I'm an M3 owner too). It has taken me a while to get over the Ego-trip, but reading the M3 forum now it always makes me reflect and say to myself, "Did I really sound that stupid?" A lot of you guys constantly justify the M3's short commings (And believe me there are quite a few) and it just makes me laugh. I love my BMW's, but it pains me to read all of the crap you guys talk all of the time. "A Lamborghini? Oh the M3 is so much better and here's why....." Are you guys serious? The M3 is barely 2/10 the car that a Lamborghini is. Those are the things that get you guys made fun of so much. Here's a post I made on the E52 forum, which seems to be the only forum where they are typically not constantly harrassing one another and just love the car for what it is. "Personally I am shocked at how much you guys are knocking the SL65. You sound like E46 M3 owners with the attitude that there is nothing better than our car. I like the SL65. I don't think that I would trade my Z8 for one, or even buy one for that matter, but I do think that it is an incredible car. Maybe you don't like the car, but to knock someone just because they acquired one isn't very couth. I come to this board to get away from all of the constant arguing I see on almost every other forum. I hope this is not the trend of this board as well."
Now, the reason I copied that on this board is because as soon as I saw the post hammering on the SL, I thought of the E46 M3 board. I like this post that I saw today from the M3 forum. "M3 is an M3...everyone wants to say "I BEAT a M3", its still the one to beat. No matter what car they drive, even a corvette, they all wanna say it..OH OH, I RAPED a M3...OMG..MY DREAMS have come true...praise ALLAH!" News Flash for you buddy. I can't find any M3 owner stupid enough to run my E52. The one friend who did got walked pretty hard. And the one car that I almost lost to in the E52 was the one you mock. It was a Z06 Corvette and I only won by the skin of my teeth. It's comments like those that will continue to annoy and **** off people who read them. I hope this helps the M3 owners understand why S4 owners and pretty much every other car owner out there thinks of M3 owners as guys with really small dicks. Hey, I'm an M3 owner too and it took me a while to grow up, but I did.
