Default Does anybody know the truth about automatic option for B6 S4 ...
The press release only mentions manual but surely there will be an auto. There have been stories saying 5-speed Tiptronic, 6-speed Tiptronic and 7-speed sequential.
What will it be and when?

Default I'm scared that by the time we find out I will have already picked up my 6sp only to find out that..
...a 7sp Sequential is being released 4 months later. =/

Interesting about the 7 speed since Audi announced that it was going to offer 6 speed auto on TT

Default Autoweek is a magazine I don't like to trust...
they have had shady articles in the past, and will continue to do so.

I'll stick with the C&D information, or even R&T if I must.

Default Motor Trend reported a 7 speed sequential....
Also someone who either works at AudiUSA or for a dealer who helps with US development posted at one time recently that the sequential would be available.

I can only hope that this is true.

I though that the 371hp was the RS4, however I may be wrong.

Default I disagree, Autoweek is usually reliable
been reading it for a couple years now. 7-speed does sound a bit iffy. My bet 6-speed tiptronic.
