I've owned many cars and this is the least cold ac I've ever experienced in a new car. My Lexus used to blow air so cold that on a day like today (90), if I had the air set on 74 the air would be so cold coming out of the vents that you could see it. I have my S4's set on LO (63?) and I can't see it, and it takes a while to get close to cold. I'm wondering if it's just my car and I need to take it in and have it checked. Anyone?

this A/C is that if you turn it off for a second the hot air immediatly takes over like you never had A/C at all.
I usually have to keep the temp on LO whenever I'm driving to keep the interior cool. I hit auto and then lower the fan speed manually so that I don't have to hear the thing blow all the time. I can't even here my exhaust over it.

Granted, I've had my car a whopping two days, but from my albeit limited observations, the AC is satisfactory. I live in South Texas, and the heat can kill around here. Plus, my car is black, with a black interior. Nonetheless, the AC does its job fast, and it does it well. The only caveat is that it takes a few moments to get going after turning on the ignition. In most other cars, the AC kicks in right when you turn the key.

The system will cool your car much faster when you have the interior air recirculating instead of pulling in the outside air all the time. This setting is not persistent and will reset itself every time you turn the AC or your car off.
Most car air conditioners will automatically set the air flow to recirculation when you turn on the AC.
