You'll love it. I was swollen and had a little pain for 3 days, but MAN, putting it in car terms...
Wisom teeth extraction = hosing down the exterior of your car
What I'm going through now after orthognatic surgery = full detail!
And you can see how I'm fine, a bit of discomfort, but totally cool. Your surgery will be CAKE. A week later, you won't even be aware that you had surgery.
Seriously though...heavy sedation means you're out. You won't have any recollection of what's going on unless he takes off the "hose" in your nose to see how you're doing. He didn't with me at all, so I "went to sleep" and woke up right after. It's cake.

and antibiotics. Thirdly, if you actually think that you could do it yourself or have a non dentist do it, you need a a psychiatrist, not a dentist because you are not only crazy, but stupid! You have no idea how tough it can be to remove lower third molars! Hell it is tough enough just to be able to see in that area, let alone remove teeth, especially if the teeth are multi rooted, which is normal! Did I mention x rays to determine the size and direction of the roots or a drill to section the tooth if necessary?
