I've read elswhere in this forum--Spring 2005??
The unavailability of Nav-Plus as a factory option in the U.S. is the one thing making me put off an S4 for now. I am a techno junkie...Come on, EVERYBODY else offers a nav system with a map. My wife's ML430 has had one back in 2000. I love that thing and it's easier to use than Porsche's.

there must be a way to convince either Audi of America or a dealer to order the part which is going to be available in the B7 S4. From what I understand, the DVD nav system is available right now but only in the A4 and S4 Convertibles. Since one could get it in the convertiblesm you would think that it would also be available in the sedan. I told several dealers that my order depends upon it, so far no luck. Please if annybody knows anything or anyway of ordering the DVD nav system respond to this thread.

click the link in my post above. It's not hard to retrofit our S4 with the Nav-Plus unit. It may even be cheaper this way than having it as an option. It's not DVD though...
