ECS rotors.... Frozen....
I'm looking into getting a set of CarboTech Bobcat pads for my brakes. Damn, the oem Audi stuff is dusty as hell.
The Bobcat's can withstand more heat, so less fade.
They are a great street/AX pad.
Now, how about rotors that will disipate the heat quicker themselves ?
Frozen Rotors look nice, but are stock oem Audi.= Heavy.
Anyone use the new ECS rotors yet ?
CrossDrilled/Slotted and much lighter.
Also 2 peice/floating, so less unsprung weight......
Any thoughts ? Much cheaper than a bbk.

Not sure, did we ever get any resolution from the thread the other day re: floating rotors?
Some were concerned since we have floating calipers whether rotors that floated laterally as well were appropriate. Especially given the weight of the car.
