Default Based on that, yes. Often times, installers stretch them too much or even the exhaust can fry them

if you're running too lean. (that would be ecu/flash related).

Default np; btw..i'm running slightly lean too based off the white coloring around my O2 sensors.

but this could have resulted because of my last exhaust being all fubared, etc...gonna checkout my O2 sensors again sometime this summer to see if the new FI exhaust fixed the issue.

Default Yup, I agree wholeheartedly with Sia. The one he posted is due to cat efficiency while...

Renos appears either a shorted out one or dead. Check connections first.

Default Solution: 1 x new O2 sensor

Here's the deal: Since my new downpipes are shaped differently, the wire harness connecting to my rear O2 sensors was stretched too tight. So tight, that it pulled the wires out of the sensor. The sensors are fine, aside from the fact they are unplugged.

Solution is to buy one new O2 sensor (around 150 bucks) and reroute it from the sensor, down. This allows for a proper wiring route and hence no excess tension. I can salvage the wiring from the sensor i'm ditching to extend sensor #2.

The VAG codes were totally accurate - no signal to sensor indeed.
