Engine ticking ;-/...
started up the car to go to lunch, and a ticking sound came fro the engine for about 10-15 seconds then went away... I shut the car off, and started it up again, same thing...
So my question to you guys that have had the valve lifter issue, when did it come on?? I STFA'd a little and found some people had it come on while driving, others not...
Anyone else have this happen to them upon startup of the car??
Am I REALLY paranoid about this issue with my car being an '04?

report to NHTSA
Anyone of you that have or had this issue in the past or the notorious transmission problem please file with NHTSA under defects all you need is you VIN# and a few minutes to do so.
THE bad lifter / tensioner clicking noise tapping from passenger side back cylinder that so many of us deal with, lets get it taken care of and recalled
even if audi paid for it under warranty still make it known to NHTSA. The more people that file the better. Make audi take care of this costly repair. Thank You
