...one thing I notice on internet forums, people (myself included to some extent) are reluctant to admit that maybe they don't really know what they think they know or that maybe (gasp!) they could actually be mistaken or (double gasp!) even flat out wrong in things they say.

Egos get in the way, but let's remember that the BEST thing is to be able to put them aside and let the truth and the best available information prevail, even if that means that some of us may have been wrong.

Being able to admit that you don't know it all and that you CAN be wrong is a great and powerful thing IMHO. And the truth is more important than one's ego.

Just something I like to bear in mind and hope that others do too.
