An exhaust leak is always a great way to start the week...hopefully this is fixable.

Very dumb question...How did you know you had a leak? I have a full Milltek exhaust on my 2004 S4 and for a couple of days, I heard a rattling noise near the passenger rear wheel well and/or passenger seat, most noticable at start up, even when parked. It sounded similar to a ML55 I had when I was told I needed a new catalytic converter. The noise went away within a day or two, I have no lights on the dash and the car drives normally. Any thoughts?

have the dreaded loose exhaust tip problem or a loose clamp near the muffler. The sound I referred to is a weird sucking sound that kinda sounds like when a person who cant whisle tries.
