Exhaust mod flap clarification...STFA and have question.
I disconnected my exhaust flap line at the conector between the green and black lines. I sealed the line going to the solenoid, and left the green one freebreathing (open). Is this right?
The black lines go to the solenoid, the green ones into the bumper. Which should I seal, the green to the bumper or the black to the solenoid.
Not sure and hope for some clarification. Thanks.

Not how I did it. You need to close off the green line. Here's what I did.
Pulled the black hose off of the plastic elbow connector between the green and black hoses. I took a small screw and screwed it into the plastic elbow. Reconnected the black hose. 1) No vacuum to the muffler. 2) Closed vacuum system. 3)No hoses hanging. 4) Stock look. Very easy to do.

The early '04 mufflers had 2 flow options controlled by a vacuum actuated solenoid.
by blocking the solonoid the more free flowing option is used. BTW, this muffler was replaced mid '04 with a single routed muffler. It also sounds better with the vacuum line blocked.
