Bought a 2005 S4 w/ approx 15k miles on it, but I bought it from a Jaguar/Landrover dealership so it wasn't a certified pre-own. It still has the original warranty left on it, but I want to get an extended warranty for it. Any advice on who I should get it through, or how to go about it? What would you do? thanks in advance.

Several warranty companies have gone out of business and others are frauds and don't pay legitimate claims. It's a good idea to do some research before buying a warranty to make sure that the warranty has value.
I would start with the Department of Insurance in your state. Find out if your state regulates extended warranty companies. If so, I would feel more confident about buying the warranty because the state will (at least theoretically) ensure that reserves are maintained to pay claims. The Department of Insurance also oversees claims practices and they (at least theoretically) will become involved if a legitimate claim is denied.
If your state doesn't regulate extended warranties, then see if you can find someone who has experience with the warranty company and who has had a good experience with the company.
If your state doesn't regulate them and if you can't verify somehow that the company is reputable, then I wouldn't pay for an extended warranty.

back in 05' it now has about 35k on it so I inquired about what to do.. I simply went to the dealership where I get my audi serviced and they have many different options available depending on what you want covered. If you want everything covered as it is now I think the package is called Platinum coverage which covers everything... and has roadside assistance. I think the cost is between 2500 - 3k for another 4 yrs or 50,000 miles....
