Well last Monday I finally got my `07 S4 Avant (ordered back on 4/14/06) after much confusion and turmoil. Loving it - as if there was anything else to do! Here is a photo for those of you requesting one.

Yep! That's exactly the car I ordered and it is a gorgeous car.
I know you're fimiliar with this feeling but I am going crazy wondering when I will actually see mine.
BTW - what did you think of the dealer? Did you feel he was pretty straightforward? Since it took so long for your car to arrive, were they good about keeping you informed of the progress?
Congratulations! I gotta say that is a very nice car.

Thanks!
With the "mix up" and everything I think they did pretty well. They were just as frustrated as I was. They kept the same deal ($500 over invoice) and because of the mix up the gave me the scheduled maintenance at no additional charge (This has been dropped from the 2007's) A couple of loose ends to be cleaned up, I asked that no license plate panel be put on the front and they did it anyway, so they are going to replace that. And the steering wheel had no paddle shifts on it so they are going to swap that out as well.
As far as keeping me informed I had to constantly stay on top of that. My internet sales manager was a great guy, but either overworked, or going in too many directions at once. But he was wonderful to work with and was no-nonsense.
