Finally got car back after a 1 week stint at the dealer for CEL code 2181. They replaced the
coolant/valve assembly exactly like Halflife's ride. Damn I pray there is no blown motor tomorrow.
On a lighter note, going from a an S4 to A.4 3.0 is painful. It was extremely slow and acceleration was an exercise in noise generation.

I hope you don't have to go through that hassle.
And wouldn't it be nice if they gave S4s as loaners. The local dealer here actually has a B5 S4 auto loaner car. I haven't had it yet but I'm guessing that thing's beat half to death. Been in service for a while. Maybe they'll get a B6 once the B7 comes out.
