I've had my car for exactly 3 months now, but put only 2000 miles on it because I've been trapped at work (and will be for another while to come). I also didn't get to taking any real pictures yet - something I love doing (even if usually not of cars =))
Some of my co-workers were giving me a hard time for ordering a grey car - the un-color. One friend even called the color "east German industrial grey", which is actually quite accurate. The reason I got it was because I found it the least offensive from the current color lineup, and still do. So when it came to taking pictures of the car, I was looking for something fitting - factories or related things. Problem is, in paranoid US, they don't let you drive into a factory and take pictures there =)
Today I went location scouting; after all, this is the Silicon Valley, so if no factories there's gotta be at least some cool looking company buildings with no paranoid security. The car hasn't been washed in over 3 weeks, so I washed the wheels and set out to the neighborhood. Next time I promise to wash the car and remove the damn filter from the lens; as someone who used to specialize in night photography, what a blatant mistake!

Industrial Grey Pictures
