Try pricing one out at http://www.audicanada.ca/ or for even more fun, try the RS4 and do the math.

new B7 S4 is 75k CAD in Canada
That's the only relevant comparison to Canadians. Yes the exchange makes no sense today, but it did when I bought my B6 S4, and Audi Canada (nor any other German importer) have adjusted prices accordingly.

I took advantage of the price difference when I picked up my 06 997 C2S
only 4400KM (2500 miles) and saved 20% when compared to a new one with the same options + it had $5500 in mods that came with the car.
