Get it straight. I'm not worried about gas "consumption". The MPG topics have been beat to death on this forum. I'm fine with the gas consumption/performance/quality/etc trade-offs that the S4 provides.
I'm obsessed with saving any extra dime I can get my hands on. I could win $100mil in the lottery and still clip coupons...It's all about NOT throwing away free money, regardless of how small the amount is. Rebates, coupons, sales, discounts, and of course saving a buck when I fill up by mixing 89 & 93 octane - especially when I cannot tell a difference between 91 and 93 octane.
Now that I've rambled, I have to admit that I've only mixed 89/93 a couple of times just to see if there really WAS a difference. I only posted to see if I would spin someone up. Mission Accomplished! (More proof that I'm a loon)
