Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season tires?

I've been looking around for a decent all season tire to replace the ContiSport2's that are currently on the car and I've pretty much settled on the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons. I'm a bit discouraged by all of the reviews at TireRack mentioning the tire noise being too much to stand.
So I'm wondering if any fellow B6 S4 owners have this tire and what their experiences with it have been?
If anyone has any other tire recommendations please throw them out there but note that I need solid light snow traction as I'm in the Seattle area and have a couple decent hills that I have to traverse on a daily basis.

shoot me an email--I just bought a set for my b6.
I'd be happy to have an excuse to go for a drive ;-)
That said, I don't have a daily driving-commute, so I bought my new tires for infrequent jaunts up to trail heads.
In short, they aren't bad now, but I too was scared of the TireRack reviews.. I'll have to see, because most of the reviews said that it takes a while for them to get loud.
I opted for these over the Bridgestone Potenzas, which definitely had a much quieter, maybe smoother ride, but the Potenzas felt like they were half a second behind me turning the wheel.. :-\ (I was coming from fairly worn summer tires, but still, even my g/f noticed the Potenzas felt a bit molasses-like)
I was told the the Eagles were a more performance-based tire whereas the Potenzas were a more balanced all season, and while I didn't drive in snow, I would believe that.

and love 'em.
One of the best A/S performance values I have seen.
As of yet no snow but from the reviews they should be more than adequate for light stuff.

Great product in my opinion, grippy in the warm, and have traction in to snow.
I use to run Toyo Proxes 4 before and they were pretty decent too, but the Eagle F1 M/S was better.
