got my car back from the body shop - not too happy about the job
The bumper looks like it was repainted. I mean you can tell its not original. I dont even know how to describe it. But I look at it up close and it does not look like the rest of the car. When I was hit, the valance was also gouged too.... now I told the body shop I would pay them to also paint the valence, which they did, howver they painted over the gouges and it looks like ****. All because my insurance adjuster said they would repair not replace. im mad as hell and im not going to take it anymore.

If it is insurance, they MUST repair it to pre accident condition.That means
You should not be able to tell it was damaged. I would be in touch with BOTH my agent and the body shop and tell them you will not accept the repair as is. My adjuster has also said that they will not replace my valance,but I talked to the owner of the body shop and he says they will replace it if they cannot repair it to pre accident condition. You need to be very proactive at this time and make as big a stink as necessary to get them to make YOU satisfied!

Sucks !!! Only one thing to do, pick up the phone, start the complaining and dont quit until
its all taken care of. Persistence pays off. I had to go through the same crap a couple months ago. I bugged the hell out of the body shop and my insurance company until I got a new bumper and they repainted my hood. Good Luck!!!

Hehehe...I like your last sentence. I would march right back into the body shop and tell them that.
Now. Or at least give them a call and announce your intensions if you're too busy. I would demand nothing short of great work--they are professionals, after all.

yes, orange peel and a lot of dimples at the top. I had them
paint the rear valence BUT there were gouges in it. One about 2.5 inches long and they just painted over it.
