Default got my s4 yesterday... long

well... afer reading up on all the posts the past couple of weeks and doing some intense research, i went to santa monica audi and came home w/ an s4... pics pending. the salesman, isaac was extremely cordial and offered a great price i couldn't refuse ($500 over invoice). i ended up w/ the typical black on black. i didn't get alcantara because i figured it was hard to clean. but to offset the black on black, i settled for the brushed aluminum. i also got options on the premium, nav, and tip. i know i know... spare the comments on the lack of a 3rd pedal, but i commute up and down the 405. after driving an ML320 for the past 5 years, this experience w/ the s4 is unlike anyother... obviously. im extremely satisfied w/ the interior (setup, seats, MMI, etc.). the car may not be as fast as an M3, but its more comfortable... a daily driver per say... yet holds its aggressive appeal. i have to admit commuting to work was a surreal experience. im not talking about the driving experience, rather watching the gas just... disappear! but you know what... im not complaining. anyways, just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.

p.s. despite the common black b7 s4s around, what are the odds of us running into each other in southern california? after all, we are in a unique group of owners. black just looks the best for that shape and wheels (BBS CH). sorry if anyone feels... oh great, another black s4. hahahahaha.

p.s. this is a really stupid question, but since im riding on low profile tires, how often should i put some air into them? i know i could've bought the pressure monitor but that presented some problems in my friend's m3... obviously m3 and audi being diff, but i just didn't want to add any more complicating electrical features. why does the car (driver side door) indicated to put 44psi in the front and 36(???) for the back? am i reading this correctly?

Default First, congrats. Secondly, you're reading the tire pressures incorrectly. You're reading the

front and back, yes, but for different load ratings.

Stay consistent with the image of the number of passengers, ie the front should be 39 back 35 (b6s4) with 2 passengers. With four they recommend 44/40 I believe.

I run 40-44 all the way around.

Oh, and about how often to fill...just check the pressures at least once a month. Ideally, every fill at the gas station, but you're not going to get around to that in this car ;-)

Default I was just there a few weeks ago!

My salesman was named Clay... I test drove the silver on black S4. Did you see that one? Very nice... Now I'm back on the East Coast, and hoping to get my S4 within the next week...

Congrats on your purchase! What was final price btw?

Default Congrats

Check you air pressure every week - and do it cold. Do not wait till you get to the gas station as you tires will be warm then.

Write your pressures down cold - if you need to add air - re check the pressures when warm - and then add the amount of air you need based on the cold readings.

Default Might bump into one another

I have a black on black S4 on order that should arrive in about a month, and I got the same deal as you, $500 over invoice. I live in Sherman Oaks and I know there's another guy on here who bought a black on black S4 the other week from Keyes Audi in Sherman Oaks. So I know within a 10 mile radius there's at least 3 of us.
