Default Actually, I was with my girlfriend when she was pulled over in the left lane going 5 mph over the

speed limit up a mountain pass. That's all her old Subaru could muster. She got quite a lecture by the Sherrif who told her to stay the f_ck out of the left lane because she was holding up traffic.

No ticket, but a thorough *** chewing and I was LMAO the entire time.

Be reminded that Driving itself is a privilege....NOT a right. Check your books before you spout off

Default The cop was a redneck and this was in Montana or Wyoming (I don't remember), but wherever we were...

we were told not impeding traffic was more important than strictly adhering to the speed limit. It was a clear and sunny dry day.

Default Same here, once I see he/she isn't going to move I just pass the genius as soon as I get the chance

using the high beams is not going to make a difference, the bastard obviously does not want to move so just pass his ***.

Default MOVE TO THE RIGHT if you're not passing - it's that freakin' simple!!!

"Why are you travelling that fast?" "If I'm going 75 I shouldn't have to move." - what kind of stupid crap is that!

You sound like a bunch of over-cautious soccer moms. We might actually be able to raise the speed limit to something reasonable if people exercised a little lane discipline. Like they've been doing successfully in Europe for many generations.

If you want to enforce the speeding laws - you know, the ones that limit us in 2006 to the same 55MPH (!) that was applied in the late '70's (AKA: the municipal revenue generating laws) go become a cop.

Please note that you won't be buying an S4 on a cop's salary.

But in any event MOVE THE HELL OUT OF THE LEFT LANE unless you're passing!

I hope I meet you at a rest stop after you're camping out in the left lane at 55...
