Default Exactly what I meant. I thought I had straddled them (under the car), got the...

....less-supported Inner part of the rim. The rest of the wheel was fine, and looked normal until you looked past the spokes, into the inner rim profile.

Default What are you running your tire psi at?...

It wouldn't take much to bend a wheel if they are way over inflated. There's hardly any sidewall on 19's with 35's!

Default 40...uhh, might be pushing it, but...

I really can't comment because I have stock wheels/tires. I think the recommended psi(cold) on the door panel for normal load is 36F/34R. Of course, your wheels and tires are different. But, I'm thinking all the more to beware of over inflating. Like I said, you have very little sidewall to absorb impacts in the first place.

At this point, it's all just a guess anyway. Maybe they just had some bad wheels that got out there. Who knows?

Default LOL.....not sure which part you're not sure about....

The culprit:
<img src="http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/208964/2/istockphoto_208964_movin_up_the_road1.jpg">

Inner, unsupported Rim Section on the Right of picture:
<img src="http://www.talontire.com/images/crosssection.gif">
Outer Rim section is most supported by the Spokes/Face of the wheel on ours.

NOW, does it make sense?
