has any1 to this day been able to get any power gains
from just cat back alone?
from what ive been hearing all the exhausts are loosing hp and tq. i know that jd got like + 30hp from cb and dp's but i think that gain was from dp's alone cause every1 that ive heard about has not been able to get on the + hp.
which may be why borla has been delayed so long when they were supposed to come out a long time ago. even the thermal exhaust sounds good but still havent seen any hp improvements...
is it possible to get just the dp's put on alone we know for sure they work with jd's dyno numbers ...

they were all dynoed a few weeks back at ams in cali on a maha dyno and they all lost power..
not the dp's as you can see from jd's dyno pulls.
ive also heard to get hp out of the exhaust keep it stock and theres just 1 small bend in there that has to get replaced not sure where it is but its what i heard..
id love to see all the exhaust companies step up and do dyno runs b4 and after with just cb's on a third party car.....

I have B&B exhaust and DP's, hyperflow, and short shifter
Mindtrip has non-res exhaust, hyperflow, and short shifter
There has to be gains with just the exhaust b/c Mindtrip was able to stick with me in 1st and 2nd gears. We are going to do some more runs tomorrow night. Let me know if there is any specific run you would like to see. Our plan is highway runs from 60 - 100, 80-120, etc..

And I bet what ever one AMS is gonna push gains right?
Unless its independent i dont trust it. I have no affiliation with Strat or Miltek, and to be honest AWE would probably wanna make it as low as possible since they are looking at making stuff. I dunno I think just cat back would provide gains, hard to believe the DP's gain that much to cover for a loosing cat back.
