has anyone evern thought if putting an oil stabilizer in to stop any oil burning?

2 yrs ago when the majority of these cars were purchased, I suggested that a product like RESTORE be used by those who are concerned about oil consumption. The concensus at that time was that it heresy to suggest that. Oil is cheap. It's you car and if you are **** about oil burning, (and I would be if I had a similar problem) what could it hurt? BTW with 13 qts of oil in the crankcase you would have to use twice as much of any addative.

I'm starting to belive that it is caused by bad rings. Some cars have them in and others do not.
