Has anyone gotten their "rolling code" garage door opener to train the HomeLink system?
I read the manual and can't get it to work for me. Maybe I was more than 15 feet away from the main unit (and yes, I did have a friend help me.) Aggrrh...aggravating.

Follow-up question for those who were successful... TIA
Do the remotes that came with the garage door opener still work after you've trained it with HomeLink? I still need to use one of the original remotes for my other car...

Here is wait your doing basically.....
-Step one when you program the Homelink in your car you are basically teaching the car what frequency your opener operated on and what kind of code to send (rolling code).
-Step two you have to teach your garage door opener to respond to your car.
Yes your earlier remote will work unless you clear all the remotes from your garage door opener
