Default Have you had issues with your seat memory system? 2nd time for me

in a year. Still under warranty, but no consolation if it continues out of warranty. Module will be replaced a 2nd time. I don't even use the presets that much, as I'm the only driver....although I do have a "race" setting and a "comfort" setting

Default I've never had a car w/ good reliable seat memory, and that's because I'm always making adjustments.

But I believe my system works as intended, so no complaints.

Default I'm in the same boat, well, this is only my first time... everything except the

seat back successfully gets recalled when i hit one of the buttons... also under warranty so, i'm not too worried about it

Default I find that over time, the mirrors don't adjust to the spot I like them.

I also find that the lumbar support does not adjust with the seat memory. Does anyone else have this problem?

Default Mine has been very very annoying. It remembers the seat position fine, but not the mirrors

I took it to the dealer and they said they couldn't reproduce the problem. What makes it really annoying is that there is no rhyme to the reason. One day, the passenger mirror will point to the ground, then another the drivers mirror will go all the way to the outside and the next it will go all the way in. It has been worse this week than ever before.
The only reason that I use it is when I get in and out of the car. When I get out of the car, I slide the seat back because I am short and dont want to fight the seat leather and the steering wheel to get out. When I get in, I hit memory 1 and the seat slides forward. I think at this point, I might as well give up and just make a small mark on the side of the seat to know the exact position I like.

Default +1 on the mirrors not holding, but the seats hold fine......

One thing that I hate is every day the parking lot guy has to move the mirrors so they can park on the lifts. I get back in the card and I hit my #1 button to return them - the d/s mirror goes all over the place but the p/s mirror always holds the correct spot. Strange that the p/s always holds but not the d/s - and they do have to move both mirrors every day. I guess moving the mirrors back is better than the alternative of having a damaged car due to them not moving the mirrors. :-)

Default Yup, had it replaced twice. On the MIRROR Issue - crud gets into the adjustment servos.....

......over time. Try manually running the sticking/non-adjusting mirror full up, then down, then left, then right. This clears the grime that causes the binding.

If this little routine doesn't fix it, then it's the integrated Servo/Position Sensor unit that's gone bad, not the controller. It's not sure where it is, but keeps telling the controller that it's at position aX/bY, when it's actually at mX/hY, kinda like asking a 4-year old in another part of the house if they're someplace they're someplace tehy're supposed to/not supposed to be: Yes could be wrong or No could be wrong.

They'll try EVERYTHING to keep from having to replace that Servo/Sensor, since the mirror has to come apart, and is apparently more PIA than the quick (better paying) Controller in the door.
Just speakin' from experience......again.
