How did you raise the gas pedal to the same level as the brake pedal?

Default I didn't - they just appear to be on the same level in the picture.

That's why I wanted to see a picture of your setup.

The gas pedal is still good 2" lower than the brake. I have AutoVation pedal covers, and they all have the same thickness. I had to remove stock rubber brake and clutch pedal covers, while the gas cover is bolted straight to the plastic gas pedal, so that reduced the vertical distance between the brake and gas pedals by about 1/8". Also, both brake and gas pedal covers are wider than stock, reducing the horizontal gap between them. With this setup I can heel-and-toe, especially with aggressive initial brake application (like they teach at the track events), but the DBW throttle still makes it hard for me to do smooth rev-matching.

Default Sorry for the slow response, I have been on the road.

I do not have a digital camera, that is why I did not post a picture. When I secured the accelerator pedal, I put 6 spacers (small washers) between the old pedal and the new pedal for each of the screws. This has really helped me with heel and toe and I can now shift very smoothly. The brake travel is a little more then I would like but this setup is working for me. Hope this helps. Sorry about the delay and the lack of pictures.
