In SoCal, it can be argued that you won't need heated seats. But in the cold, winter mornings, they're a God-send.

I love using the heated seats on long drives. When I'm tired, I open the windows and the sunroof to let in cool air, but I turn-up the seat heaters to keep me warm. It's great for staying awake!

live in a cold climate....absolutely. had them on both of my a4's.

You live in a place that has cold winter, so why not getting them ? Also, spending about $50,000 and you worry about $500 ?!

Rear heated seats are not even an option for the S4 ?!!!!

Must be a US spec issue - in the UK you can order either front heated seats or front & rear heated seats. I've ordered front & rear.
Sounds like you need to pressurise AoA!
