Default don't guess, find somebody with ECUx or VAG-COM and log the car properly

The lack of power is probably limp from running overly lean. Could also be one O2 sensor is going.

Default Probably not as easily as you. But since you can do it in your sleep...

why not stfu and just do it? Rather than criticizing this forum AGAIN? Be a help and be satisfied with that.

Default if he was local, i would log it for him.

i was hoping that there would be at least one person on this board that could help him do the logging.

Default Read all the posts ... your help inside

Thanks for coming to help this guy. Maybe you could get a smaller soap box next time...Go Easy on the B6ers there is a little slower learning curve on some stuff. A vag com is standard equipment for most of the B5 guys. But a good section of the B6 guys don't work on there car thus the Dealer issue.

You also have to remember some people don't want to Vag there car. That is why they go to the dealer. It dose no good to vag the car if you have no intention or ability to fix it. Even if the fix is a bad 02. Some people enjoy the car without working on it.

Help for both the dealer and the car diagnoses

Default guesses: clogged fuel filter (relatively easy to change), fuel pump itself,

maybe run some Techron through it. bad gas could do something like this, but I'm assuming that you've run a few tanks through it by now?
