HELP. Got a speeding ticket in Quebec today, will the points go into my NJ license?
On the way back to the US from Montreal, in Brossard, I was accelerating to merge WITH the flow and got singled out, 84kph in a 50kph zone.
Anyway, the ticket says 3 points, anyone knows if it will go against my NJ driver license. If so, any chance of disputing it since I was just going with the flow with cars ahead and behind me?
thanks a lot in advance

I doubt whether Quebec has reciprocity with the state of NJ
If your not going to go back to Quebec IMHO I wouldn't pay the ticket. I don't think they will extradite you back to Canada for a speeding ticket.BTW many states in the US do not have reciprocity either!

I live in Brossard ...
Sorry man but the cops are (almost) always at that spot. When I drive home I always drop down to 50 at that point & tell anyone that is coming to see me to watch out. They make a killing there every week-end.
Hope you stil enjoyed your time in Mtl. :-)
